Patch 2.98.0: Zombiez hub, menu music, 63 new Armoury items and bundles

Zombiez hub, menu music, 63 new Armoury items and bundles (6 October 2026).

Released 6 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Zombiez is now its own place. Typing /zombiez takes you out of the city to a private hub, a foggy crash site at night with your character and your party on screen. Nobody in the city can see you there, and the city HUD, radar and phone stay hidden. You can go from a car (you step out first), a house, a business or an apartment, and leaving with /zombiez leave, the menu exit or the Text RP button puts you back exactly where you were, inside the same property. If you disconnect or the server restarts while you are in the hub, you come back where you left the city.

  • Balance: You can no longer use /zombiez to get out of a situation: it is refused while you are cuffed, escorted or carried, downed, in custody or jail, in a phone call, within the post-combat timer, on duty or in the middle of a job.

  • New: Menu music: the hub plays GTA lobby music while you are in the menu. Turn it on or off on the Play tab and your choice is remembered. It stops when a match starts and when you leave, and follows your game music volume.

  • New: 63 new Armoury items: 25 special firearms on new guns such as the AP pistol, Navy revolver, tactical rifle, battle rifle, heavy rifle, military rifle, precision rifle, assault SMG, double barrel, combat shotgun, musket and MG; 15 custom melee including a hammer, pool cue, broken bottle, flashlight, candy cane and new knuckle dusters; 18 new skins and 5 new attachments. They are in the cases, the Black Market rotation and the Workshop recipes, and every new gun works in matches.

  • New: Black Market bundles: each week four bundles themed on the cases (Field, Biohazard, Crash Site and Reliquary) sell three specific items together for 12% less than buying them one by one. Every item and every stat is shown before you buy, bundles never contain cases, and bundle items have the usual 7 day trade hold.

  • Balance: The premium battle pass track no longer gives cases. Premium tiers now give a fixed Armoury item shown on the tier: Hayseed (5), Butcher's Hatchet (15), Ash Choir (25), Parish Bell (35), The Widower (45) and Faraday's Last Word (50). If you have already reached those tiers, the items are added to your Armoury once, and any cases you already received are yours to keep. The two pass blueprints move to the free track (tiers 15 and 35). Cases now come only from playing and are always free to open.
