Released 6 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: Zombiez has an Armoury. Open /zombiez and pick the Armoury tab to collect weapon skins (real GTA finishes and liveries such as Yusuf's Gilt, Lowrider chrome and Mk II camos), special firearms with named finishes and their own perks, and custom melee such as switchblades, hatchets, battle axes and daggers that hit harder and bleed, cleave, heal you or finish off weak zombies. Every item keeps a Tally of its kills and can carry a name tag.
New: You keep what you carry unless your team is wiped: choose one special firearm and one melee to carry into your next match. If your team extracts, everyone keeps everything, even if you were downed or dead at the time. If the team is wiped, carried weapons are lost. Leaving or disconnecting mid-match no longer dodges anything: what you carried waits for your team's result. Skins are never at risk, leaving before round 1 is safe, a server restart never costs you anything, and ranked only allows skins.
New: Weapon insurance and the secure slot: insure your carried firearm or melee for one match in RPP or Bones. The price depends on the weapon, its upgrade level and its attachments, and is shown before you confirm. If your team is wiped, an insured weapon comes home with its upgrades and attachments; if your team extracts, the policy simply expires; if the match never starts or the server restarts, you get it back. The secure slot (Prestige 1 or this season's premium pass) still protects one carried item for free.
New: Loot in every match: kills drop Scrap (more from specials, brutes and bosses), salvage piles appear around the map (press E to search), objectives drop Circuitry, alien infected drop Bio-samples and bosses can drop Alloy, Mythic Cores, items, cases and blueprints. Everything you find goes in your pack and is yours unless your team is wiped, in which case you keep a quarter of your materials.
New: Cases: Field Cases, Biohazard Canisters, Crash Site Pods and Gilded Reliquaries open in 3D, then your item is revealed as the real weapon in the game world, with the full odds shown before you open them. Cases are earned only and free to open: they come from matches, bosses, your first extraction each day, weekly challenges, battle pass tiers and prestige, and they can never be bought, crafted or traded.
New: Workshop: salvage items into materials, refine Scrap into Alloy and Circuitry, c
