Staff and support

Who runs Roleplay Project, what each team handles, and where to go for reports, tickets, appeals, faction matters, refunds and account problems, with the UCP and Discord destinations for each. For anyone with a character.

Overview

Roleplay Project is run by volunteers who also play here. Staff are organised in ranks and teams, and most of what you will ever need from them goes through one of four doors: the in-game report for things happening now, a support ticket on the UCP for anything that needs a record, an appeal for a punishment you disagree with, and the faction management teams for anything to do with running a faction. The page lists who is who and which door to use, and Bugs and support walks through filing each one.

Staff do not decide in character matters. A robbery, a debt, a contract or a court case is for the police, the courts and the characters involved; see How court works.

How tickets work

A ticket is one record whatever door you open it through. From the UCP you fill in a category, a subject and a description; from Discord the support panel asks the same questions and opens a private channel that mirrors the ticket. Replies from staff arrive by email, on the portal and in that channel, and you can reply in any of them. When a ticket is closed you are asked for feedback stars; the channel is locked and removed a week later, and the record stays on your account.

Staff replies in a Discord ticket only count as staff when the person's Discord is linked to their staff account, so if someone unknown answers, check the portal.
