Patch 2.58.0: A bartender who never clocks off

A bartender who never clocks off (12 September 2026).

Released 12 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • Fixed: The Standing tier badge showed as a coloured square above your head. The badge font was never carried to the live server by the deploy, so the glyph had nothing to draw with.

  • Fixed: /fixveh dropped the car 3 metres in front of you at head height, which at the hospital doors meant inside a planter or a railing, so it launched off and burst its tyres. It now finds the nearest clear stretch of road within 50 metres and puts the car there. No road nearby means no use is consumed.

  • Fixed: Graffiti caused stutter when several tags came into view at once. Every tag in range was created in the same frame and its strokes were re-read on every pass. Tags now load in one at a time from further out, so walking past a wall of them is smooth.

  • Fixed: The login intro played again for existing accounts after a reinstall. It was remembered only on your PC. The server now knows whether the account exists, so the intro only plays for a brand new registration.

  • Fixed: Insurers that include modification cover never showed it on the add-ons page, and replacements on older policies still had no purchase price to fall back on.

  • New: Marcus Vale works the bar at 159 San Andreas Ave and never clocks off. He pours the property's own menu, makes every order in front of the room, takes cash to the company account, handles TapIt orders when nobody human is on, and remembers his regulars. Talk to him in local chat, or with /to Marcus.

  • New: A notice at the right of the screen now tells you when your connection to the server is unstable or lost, so a frozen panel or dead commands are not mistaken for a bug.

  • Fixed: Fishing only accepted the starter rod. Anyone who had upgraded to a Carbon, Tournament or Deep-Sea rod was told they had no fishing rod. Every rod counts now.

  • Fixed: Drift kits and drift tyres only half worked because three systems were writing the same handling values and the last one won. The handling now has a single owner, so the tune, the tyres, the drift kit, engine condition and nitrous all apply together.

  • Fixed: The nitrous readout was drawn underneath the speedometer and the purge smoke picked exhaust pipes that many cars do not have, so half of every purge showed nothing. The readout is centred and the smoke always finds a pipe.

  • Fixed: The cut-off saw could not be stored anywhere. It is now an ordinary item: use it from your bag to take it in hand, and it returns to your bag in
