Changes
New: Coral Island is now guarded. Coral Island Defence Force soldiers stand at the airstrip flights desk, the Government House gates, the docks and the SAM sites, and Coral Island Police Service officers at the Immigration and City Office and the Health Center. Foot patrols walk Puerto Coral, the airstrip and the Government House grounds, patrol cars drive the island roads, and coastguard boats circle the coast. Every guard has their own name, rank and service number on a name tag marked NPC.
New: Restricted areas such as the Government House grounds and the SAM sites are now enforced. Without clearance the guards warn you, draw and aim, give a final warning and then open fire while you are still inside. Leave and they stop at once. To surrender, put your weapon away and raise your hands with /e handsup: the guards cease fire, detain you and remove you to Sandy Shores Airfield, the same as a deportation. If you are downed, EMS handles you as normal and the police are asked to detain you once you recover.
New: Visitors with a visa, residents, citizens and festival visitors are never targeted around the towns. Someone with no lawful status who walks up to a guard is stopped and the police are called, and while the island is closed or locked down they get the same warnings as in a restricted area.
New: Guards never challenge members of the Government of Coral Island, on or off duty, or anyone in their vehicle, and they also leave on-duty CIPS officers, /coralaccess clearance holders and staff on duty alone.
New: The coastguard reports what it sees on the Coral radio for on-duty government and police: boats approaching the coast or loitering offshore, aircraft flying low over the water, swimmers and vehicles parked on the shore after dark, with the model and registration where there is one. Vessels without clearance are shadowed for a while, cleared ones are only noted, and low aircraft are also called in on Coral approach. The towers do the same from the shore.
New: The guards salute and greet the President, foot patrols step aside, patrol cars pull over, and the coastguard escorts her on the water.
New: Staff and Government of Coral Island leadership manage it all with /coralguards: add guard posts and towers where you stand, draw restricted zones, record patrol routes by walking, driving or sailing them, rename guards, switch the w
