Changes
New: Insurance is rebuilt. Twelve providers with their own personalities: budget outfits that show you the door after two claims, specialists that only write cover on cars over $120k or tuned cars, and concierge cover that barely minds you claiming. Every quote is priced on your car's value and class, your criminal record, your claims in the last year and your clean months. Ask for quotes on a car and every provider answers, with the ones that refuse you telling you why.
New: Add-ons, each billed monthly: breakdown cover (the insurer pays mechanic callouts), glass cover (free window repairs), modification cover (your engine work survives a write-off, otherwise the replacement comes back stock), a better or a sports courtesy car, zero excess, fast-track claims and theft cover. Courtesy cars now come in tiers from a runabout to a sports car.
Balance: Every claim raises your premiums with every insurer for twelve months, pushes the deductible up, and some providers stop offering anything. Renewals are requoted on your record, auto-renew takes the premium from your bank the day before the policy runs out, and you pay for cover the way you pay in a shop: cash, bank or card.
New: Taking a car outright. A mechanic who has ground the VIN, fitted another car's plates and cloned the key can re-register the car to themselves from the service desk. The owner sees it as stolen in /v and cannot spawn it: claim on the insurance if it covers theft, or write it off if it does not.
New: Staff: /placechopshop puts a chop shop down where you stand, owned by a faction or by a garage company, so a garage's staff can strip cars at a spot as well as on their forecourt.
