Released 5 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: Crash Site has a main quest, Signal from the Crash. From round 3, wake three alien power cells around the wreck, gather residue from the infected, hold the beacon's light while the horde surges, recover three weapon parts, build the Signal Ray and answer the signal. A tracker on the right of the HUD shows the step, progress and a hint.
New: The Signal Ray is a wonder weapon built from the quest. One per team: whoever takes it carries it, and if they go down for good it waits at the wreck for someone else.
New: New Crash Site enemies. Alien infected glow green from round 5, take more punishment and spit acid: they stop, glow and throw it, so keep moving and it misses. The Alien Overseer replaces the boss on Crash Site, with a ground slam, a charged beam and infected adds. Watch the rings and the gathering light.
New: Bringing down the Overseer you called finishes the quest. The first time pays 6,000 XP, 500 Bones, the First Contact title and the Signal Lost achievement; every completion after that pays 1,500 XP and 100 Bones. The fastest team is shown on the tracker.
