Changes
New: The Weazel Ad Agency has a new home in /ads: a board of every running advert with search and categories, a step by step advert builder with a live preview, and My adverts with stats for every hour your advert runs.
New: Adverts now have a headline, a body of up to four lines, a number to call or text and a place on the map. Schedule them to start later or repeat daily for up to 7 days, with 5% off for 3 days and 10% off for 5 or more.
New: Edit the wording of a running advert for free, pause and resume it, extend it by hours or add more days, and put it in the spotlight for 100 PP. Cancelling shows the exact refund before you confirm.
New: Businesses can advertise under their own name with a verified tick. Owners and ranks allowed to post announcements manage the adverts, and ranks allowed to withdraw can pay from the business account.
New: Advert cards are calmer: they sit above the street name, never take the mouse, and wait until you are free, not in a menu, a cutscene or down. Choose fewer or more adverts, quiet hours, card time, a chime, chat lines and map markers, or mute any category, in /settings or with /admute.
New: Press F9 to set GPS to the last advert you saw (change it in /keybinds). /adgps, /adcall, /adtext, /adhide and /admute work too, with an advert number or on the latest one.
New: Report an advert from the board or with /adreport. The agency checks first adverts and flagged wording before they run. Review never eats into the time you paid for, and anything not accepted is refunded in full.
Balance: New prices: Classified $100 an hour (up to 12 hours), Standard $200 (up to 24 hours), Featured $350 (was $375) and Prime $650 (was $700, up to 48 hours). Every package includes a number, a place and a map marker.
Balance: Links to outside websites and chat servers are no longer accepted in adverts. City websites are fine.
Fixed: Adverts that should have ended no longer keep running, refunds are worked out correctly, and every advert carries on to schedule after a restart.
Content: Adverts that were paused before this update stay paused for 3 more days. Resume or cancel them in /ads before then, or they are cancelled with a refund for the time they did not run.
