The PP store

What Project Points are, how you earn them by playing, and what the store sells: nametag colours, effects and titles, phone wallpapers and accents, extra slots, card packs, crates, boombox, Lucky Wheel spins and gifting. For anyone with a character.

What it is

Project Points (PP) are the reward for being in the city. Every character earns them just by playing, faster when you are active in scenes and chatting, and spends them in the PP store on things that make your character look and feel more yours: a coloured or animated nametag, a title above your name, a phone wallpaper, extra character, vehicle and outfit slots, trading card packs, crates, a boombox and spins on the Lucky Wheel. Nothing in the store changes how strong your character is. There is no weapon, no cash bundle and no property in it.

The store opens with /ppstore. It has a Browse tab with the catalogue, a Detail view for each item with a live preview of nametag colours and effects, a Locker of what you own with equip and unequip buttons for each slot, an Activity tab with your recent earnings and purchases, an Earn tab explaining the rates below and a Gift tab for sending points to another player.

How to start

There is nothing to sign up for. Your balance is shown at the top of /ppstore and on /ppactivity. Points arrive on their own while you play:

While you are

Points

Online and idle

1 point every 5 minutes, about 12 an hour

Active (moving, in scenes) with a few chat lines each interval

Up to 3 points every 5 minutes, about 36 an hour

An RPP+ subscriber

Everything above is doubled, up to about 72 an hour

Clearing your daily task board

15 to 30 points per task, five tasks a day, and 100 points more for clearing all five

Time spent away from the keyboard does not count. A character in their first week who plays a couple of hours an evening and clears the task board most days will have around a thousand points by the weekend, enough for a nametag colour, an effect and a card pack.

Step by step

  1. Check your balance

Type /ppstore. Your balance is at the top of the panel; /ppactivity in chat lists where the last points came from and went.

  2. Browse by category

The Browse tab is split into Nametag, Phone, Vehicle, Convenience, Rewards and Community. Each card shows the price, the rarity (standard, premium or prestige) and, where one applies, the Standing tier you need.

  3. Preview before you buy

Open an item. Nametag colours and effects render on a live preview of your own name so you can see the shade or the animation before paying. Titles preview in the same place.

  4. Buy it

Press Buy. The points leave your balance at once and the item goes into your locker; a consumable such as a card pack or a crate is opened from the locker or delivered to your inventory.

  5. Equip from the locker

Open the Locker tab. Each slot (colour, effect, title, wallpaper, accent) shows what you own and what is equipped. Equip and unequip as often as you like. Two things cost points to change after purchase: a custom title (500 PP an edit) and nothing else.

  6. Send some to a friend

The Gift tab sends points to another player by name. The sender pays a 20 percent handling charge on top; the receiver gets the full amount. Gifting opens up once you hold Silver standing and have been around a while, and the receiver can turn gifts off with /ppgifts off.

The catalogue

Prices as of the current catalogue. Items marked Silver or Gold need that Standing tier before they show as buyable.

Nametag colours (one each, switch from the locker): Blue 50, Green 75, Red, Purple, Pink, Cyan, Orange, Teal, Lime and Amber 100, Crimson, Lavender, Mint and Steel 125. Custom Nametag Colour 2,500 (Silver): pick any colour, change it later for free; colours too dark to read and the staff colours are refused.

Nametag effects (one each): Shimmer 150, Pulse 250, Gold Shimmer 300, Glitch 300 (a slow stepped flicker that never strobes), Ember, Frost and Toxic 350, Rainbow Wave 400, Neon Drift 500 (Silver).

Titles worn above your name: LOCAL, TOURIST, NIGHT OWL, REGULAR, GEARHEAD, ANGLER, CHEF, GREEN THUMB, BOOKWORM, LUCKY, WANDERER and SOUVENIR at 400 each. Custom Title 5,000 (Gold): up to twelve capital letters, digits and spaces, changed later from the locker for 500. Staff ranks, emergency services, faction names, the earned Standing badges and anything close to them are reserved.

Phone: wallpapers Mount Chiliad and Sandy Shores Haze 200, Vespucci Sunset and Blaine County Dusk 250, Tidal 300, Neon Grid 350; interface accents Amethyst, Ice, Ember and Moss 150 each.

Vehicle: Plate Voucher 250, covers the 300 point cost of one premium plate style and is used automatically the next time you claim one.

Convenience: Extra Character Slot 500 (up to two), Extra Vehicle Slot 300 (up to three), Extra Outfit Slots 50 for ten more wardrobe slots at a time.

Rewards: Founders Card Pack and First Year 2026 Pack 100 (five random trading cards from a limited set), Mystery Crate 200, Boombox 250, Lucky Wheel Spin 250 (a personal spin sent to your account email; cars, cash, RPP+ time and points are on it; up to two spins a day), Collectors Crate 600 (a card pack and two further finds from a better pool).

Community: Send Project Points, from 50 at a time, with the 20 percent charge and daily and monthly limits on both sides.

Standing and the store

Standing is the ladder you climb by playing, from Bronze through Silver and Gold up to Legend, and it is separate from points. Two colours and effects and the custom title sit behind Silver or Gold so that the most visible cosmetics say something about time in the city rather than points in the bank. The tier you need is on the card; the Standing badge itself is earned, never bought.

Worked example

WORKED EXAMPLE

Maya Okafor has 1,180 points after eleven days. She wants her name to stand out in the fishing club photos.

She types /ppstore. Browse, Nametag. She opens Teal Nametag (100) and the preview shows her name in teal above a small render of her character. Buy. 1,080 left. She opens Shimmer Effect (150): the preview pulses. Buy. 930 left.

Locker tab: Colour shows Teal equipped; Effect shows Shimmer equipped. She toggles the effect off, looks at it, turns it back on.

She still wants the ANGLER title (400). Buy. 530 left. The Locker's Title slot now shows ANGLER equipped, and in the world her tag reads ANGLER above Maya Okafor in shimmering teal.

Rewards: a Founders Card Pack for 100. It arrives in her inventory as a sealed pack; she opens it from the inventory and gets five cards, one of them a foil.

Two days later she has 500 again. Her friend Nadia is 40 short of a Red Nametag. Gift tab, Nadia Brooks, 50 points. The panel shows 50 to Nadia, 10 handling, 60 in total. Send. Nadia's phone buzzes with the gift; Maya's /ppactivity shows gift_sent 50 and gift_fee 10.
