Patch 2.53.3: Fish anywhere there is water

Fish anywhere there is water (8 September 2026).

Updated

Released 8 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Fishing is no longer tied to six spots. Face any water, on foot or from a boat, and press E or /fish to cast; the line lands where the water actually is. The piers keep their hotspot bonuses. /fish stats opens the species log.
