Transfers

Transferring assets from another server (LSRP, GTA:W and others)

We do consider asset transfers from other established roleplay servers. This is the single most common ticket we receive, so please read this before opening one.

What you need to provide

Open a ticket under Other and include all of the following. Tickets missing any of it will be sent back, which slows everything down:

  1. Which server you are transferring from

  2. Your character name there, exactly as it appears

  3. Evidence of ownership β€” screenshots of the property/vehicle/business panel showing your name, ideally with a timestamp visible

  4. What you are asking to bring across β€” be specific

  5. Your RPP character that should receive it

What we can and cannot do

We assess every transfer individually. Things that affect the outcome:

  • Value does not carry 1:1. Economies differ between servers. A property worth $10m elsewhere may be assessed at a very different figure here.

  • Businesses need a concept, not just a balance. If you are transferring a business, tell us what you intend to do with it here.

  • We cannot verify claims we cannot see. If the other server has closed and you have no screenshots, there is usually nothing we can act on.

  • Nothing is guaranteed. A transfer is a discretionary decision, not an entitlement.

How long it takes

Transfers involve management review, so they take longer than a standard ticket. Please allow up to 14 days and avoid opening duplicate tickets, which pushes you back down the queue.

Your account

I cannot log in while using a VPN

We block most VPN and proxy IP ranges at login. This is not aimed at you personally β€” VPNs are the standard tool for evading bans, so allowing them freely makes every other moderation decision unenforceable.

First, try without it

The large majority of VPN login problems are solved by simply turning the VPN off for the login, then reconnecting it afterwards if you need it for something else.

If you genuinely need a VPN

Some players cannot reach Rockstar services at all without one, usually due to their ISP or country. We do grant exemptions for this.

Open a ticket under Account and tell us:

  • Why you need the VPN (ISP blocking, regional restriction, workplace network)

  • Which provider you use

  • Roughly which region you connect through

We will review and, where it looks legitimate, add an exemption to your account. This is a manual decision so please allow a few days.

What will not work

  • Switching to a different VPN provider β€” the block is on connection type, not one company

  • Repeatedly retrying the login, which may trip rate limiting and make things worse

  • Opening several tickets about the same thing

My account is scheduled for deletion

If you requested it

You can cancel the deletion yourself from your control panel at any point before the scheduled date. After that date the data is gone and cannot be recovered.

If you did not request it

Open a ticket under Account straight away and say clearly that you did not request deletion. Two things this might mean:

  1. Someone else has access to your account. In that case change your password immediately and enable two-factor authentication.

  2. It was triggered by policy, in which case we will explain why.

Either way, do it before the date passes. We cannot restore an account after deletion completes β€” that is the point of deletion.

I lost my password. How do I get back in?

Go to the sign in page on the control panel and choose "Forgot password". Enter the email address on your account and we will send you a reset link. The link is single use and expires, so request a fresh one if it has been sitting in your inbox a while. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder first. If your account email is out of date or you no longer have access to it, open a support ticket and staff will verify you another way.

Money and refunds

I accidentally bought or leased a property

Accidental property purchases are reversible in many cases, but the window matters.

Do this first

  1. Stop. Do not furnish it, store items in it, or sell it on.

  2. Note the time it happened.

  3. Open a Refund ticket straight away.

The reason for the urgency is simple: once you have moved items in, changed the interior, or resold it, unwinding the transaction affects more than just your own account, and it becomes much harder to justify.

What to include in the ticket

  • Which character bought it

  • The property address

  • Roughly when it happened

  • What you actually intended to do

When we usually say no

  • The purchase was days ago and you have used the property since

  • You are asking to reverse it because the price dropped or you found somewhere better

  • You knowingly bought it and changed your mind

"I misclicked five minutes ago" and "I regret this a week later" are very different requests, and we treat them differently.

Getting a refund for money or items lost to a bug

If a bug cost you money or items, we will usually put it right. What determines how quickly is the quality of the evidence.

What makes a refund straightforward

  • A screenshot or clip showing the loss happening, or the state immediately after

  • Approximate time and date β€” this lets us check server logs

  • The character affected

  • What you expected to happen versus what did

With those, we can usually verify against logs and resolve it quickly.

What makes it slow or impossible

  • "I lost some money yesterday, not sure how much"

  • No timestamp, so we cannot narrow the log search

  • The loss is old enough that logs have rotated

Please also report the bug

A refund fixes your account. It does not fix the bug for everyone else. Report it at bugs.roleplayproject.net, where you can track the fix and earn Project Points for confirmed reports.

Doing both is genuinely the fastest route: a confirmed bug report makes your refund easier to justify.

How to apply for and start a business

Businesses are player-run and applied for, not bought off a shelf.

Before you apply

You should have:

  • A concept β€” what the business actually is, and what roleplay it creates for other people

  • A location in mind

  • Capital to fund it. A business with no money behind it stalls immediately

  • Time. Businesses that open once and never again get closed

Applying

Applications go through the forums, in the business section. Write it properly: a two-line application reads as low effort and is usually rejected.

Cover:

  1. The concept and what makes it interesting

  2. Where it will operate

  3. How you will staff it

  4. Your funding

  5. What events or regular activity you plan

After approval

Staff set the business up for you and assign ownership. If something is wrong with the setup afterwards, open a ticket under Other referencing your approved application.

How do I request a refund?

Open a support ticket and choose the Refund category. You will be asked which character, what was lost, and roughly when it happened. Refunds over $50,000 also need sign-off from server management, so those take a little longer.

Getting started

How do I check whether my application passed?

Where results appear

When your application is processed you will get an email to the address on your account, and the result appears in your control panel.

Before opening a ticket

  1. Check your spam and junk folders. This is by far the most common reason people think they have heard nothing.

  2. Confirm the email address on your account is one you can actually read.

  3. Give it time. Applications are read by people, not a script.

Still nothing?

Open a ticket under Account, and include the email address you applied with. Please do not reapply β€” a duplicate application usually pushes you to the back of the queue rather than the front.

How do I join the server?

Apply through the website. Once your application is approved you can connect and make your first character. There is an in-game tutorial that walks you through the basics.

What is Autumn Harvest?

Autumn Harvest is a seasonal game on the control panel that runs until 30 September. You plant crops on your plots, they grow in real time, and you come back to harvest them for bushels. Bushels buy upgrades, more plots, and farmhands who keep earning while you are logged off. Tending the field spends energy, which refills on a timer, so there is no advantage to clicking quickly. Whoever is highest on the leaderboard when the season closes earns project points. It works on a phone.

How do I earn project points?

Project points are the control panel currency you spend in the store. You earn them through activity on the server and through events and promotions we run. Autumn Harvest pays project points to the top of its leaderboard when the season ends on 30 September. Check the store page to see what points can be spent on.

Rules and appeals

Warning points, account standing and what they mean

Your account standing is a simple way of showing where you are, without staff having to read your entire history every time.

How points work

  • Breaking a rule adds points. More serious offences add more.

  • Points decay over time if you stay out of trouble.

  • Your tier is derived from your current total: Good standing, Notice, Caution, Suspended, Final notice.

Where to see yours

Your control panel shows your standing, your current warnings, and how long until points decay. Nobody else sees the detail β€” your public profile only ever shows the tier, never the individual warnings.

If you think a warning is wrong

Use the Appeals section, not a support ticket. Explain what happened and why you believe it was mistaken. Appeals are reviewed by someone other than the issuing admin.

How to report a player properly

In-game, right now

Use /report in game. An admin can attend while it is still happening, which is far more useful than reconstructing it later.

After the fact

Open a ticket under Player report and include:

  • Who β€” their character name, or the closest you can get

  • When β€” date and rough time

  • What rule you believe was broken

  • Evidence β€” a video clip is worth ten paragraphs of description

Why evidence matters so much

We cannot punish someone on one person's account of events alone. Without evidence, the usual outcome is that we note it and move on, which helps nobody.

Recording software runs in the background with almost no performance cost. If you play regularly it is worth setting up.

What happens next

You will not usually be told the specific outcome for the other player β€” that is their business, not a public record. You will be told the report was handled.

How do I appeal a ban or punishment?

Use the Appeals section of your control panel. Explain what happened and why you think it should be reviewed. Do not open a normal support ticket for an appeal, it will just be redirected.

Technical help

The game crashes or runs badly

Try these first, in order

  1. Clear your FiveM cache. Delete the `cache` folder in your FiveM application data. This alone fixes the majority of crashes and texture problems.

  2. Verify you are not running conflicting mods. Custom graphics packs and trainers are a very common cause.

  3. Update your graphics drivers.

  4. Lower your graphics settings, particularly if crashes happen in busy areas.

If it still crashes

Note down:

  • The exact error message, screenshotted rather than paraphrased

  • When it happens β€” on join, in a specific area, during a specific action

  • Whether it is consistent or random

Then open a ticket under Other with that detail, or report it at bugs.roleplayproject.net if you believe it is a server-side fault rather than your setup.

Bad performance rather than crashes

Poor FPS in crowded areas is usually a client-side limit rather than a server fault. Lower shadows and grass first β€” they cost the most for the least visual gain.

How do I report a bug?

Use the bug portal. Search first in case it is already reported, then add your details to the existing report rather than opening a duplicate. Screenshots and the rough time it happened help a lot.
