What it is
The Roleplay Project Telegram bot, @RoleplayProjectTeam_bot, puts your account in your pocket. Once it is linked to your UCP account you can check your character, your bank and your daily tasks, read the news and the wiki, answer support tickets and in-game reports, get alerts when something happens to your character, approve sign-ins, and buy or gift RPP+ with Telegram Stars.
It is an out of character tool. It reads your account; it does not play your character, and nothing you do in it happens in the city.
Linking your account
- Start the bot
Open t.me/RoleplayProjectTeam_bot in Telegram and press Start.
- Ask for a link
Send
/link. The bot replies with a button that opens the UCP. The link is personal to your Telegram account and expires in 15 minutes. - Confirm on the UCP
Sign in to the UCP if you are not already, and confirm. The bot messages you straight away to say you are linked.
Commands
Telegram commands are typed in your chat with the bot, not in game.

Alerts and security
The bot always tells you when staff reply to your tickets or reports, when your harvest crops are ready and before your RPP+ runs out. You can switch any of those off in /account.
Other alerts are off until you turn them on in /account. They include loan, mortgage, rent and tax reminders, impounds, vehicles removed, insurance ending, company applications, faction supply requests, races, the daily task board at 00:05, phone texts while you are away, money received, Lifeinvader activity, rally calls and Weazel breaking news.
/account also has a security section. It shows recent sign-ins, lets you choose to receive sign-in codes in Telegram, and has an emergency lock:
Sign-in approvals. When a sign-in code is sent to Telegram, the message shows the device and has Approve and Deny buttons, so one tap lets you in or stops someone else.
Lock my account. If a sign-in is not you, the lock stops the account logging in to the UCP or the game until a member of staff unlocks it. To unlock, open a support ticket from Telegram or the UCP and confirm it is you.
RPP+ with Telegram Stars
/plus shows your RPP+ status and lets you pay in Telegram Stars for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, as a monthly Telegram subscription, or as a gift for a friend. Time is added to the end of any RPP+ already on the account. Receipts are in your Telegram settings, in the chat, and under /receipts. A Stars subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in Telegram's settings, even if you unlink.
Unlinking
Send /unlink and confirm. RPP+ time already added stays on your account. Send /link any time to connect again.
