Released 18 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: A character can now belong to up to three companies and own any of them. One company is active at a time: the /company panel, company chat, stash, fleet, bank, tills and wages all act on it. Switch from the picker at the top of the panel or with /company switch, and clocking on at a business switches to that company for you. Doors, tills and stashes accept any membership that has the right permission, not only the active one.
New: Rank permissions are now real. Owners tick invite, kick, promote and demote, bank withdraw with a daily limit, bank deposit and view, stash, fleet, point of sale, set wages, post announcements, manage jobs and view the activity log per rank from the Ranks tab. Existing ranks keep everything they had.
New: Job board. Companies post open positions with a title, the rank you join at, an advertised wage, a short description and how many slots are open. Browse them with /hiring, from the Jobs Hub, from /company jobs or from the Vacancies button in /openbusinesses, and apply with a short note. Managers accept or decline from the Applications tab and you are told either way, in game or the next time you log in.
New: Timesheet tab: hours on duty and wages paid per employee for this week and last week, with the company total, and a weekly summary written to the company log.
New: Activity tab: every bank move, hire, application decision, kick, leave, rank and permission change, stash and fleet movement, wage change, announcement, duty session and ownership transfer, with who did it and to whom, filterable by kind and date.
New: Company announcements and profiles. Owners and ranks with the announcement permission set a message shown to staff when they clock on and at the top of the panel, plus a description, contact phone and opening hours that show in /openbusinesses and on the job board.
Fixed: Company payroll on duty now moves the money and writes the ledger entry in one step, so a wage can no longer be taken from the company account without reaching the employee.
