Released 5 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: Coral Island defence operators can now order missile strikes from /coraldef. Pick a missile, a radar contact, a point on the scope or a target marked in the field with /coraldef paint, and a SAM site (or let the console pick the nearest armed site in range). The planner draws range rings for the site, previews the blast radius, time to target and anyone inside the blast, and blocks hospitals, police and fire stations, spawns, airport terminals, properties and safe zones.
New: Every launch primes for 30 seconds first. An air raid siren sounds across the island, a "Missile launch in 30, 29..." banner shows for everyone on Coral Island, the launch site flashes red and amber and its launcher turns to face the target. Any operator can abort until the missile leaves, and people near the impact point get a short incoming warning.
New: Missiles are now real, visible rockets with a smoke trail, exhaust glow, launch flash and a curved flight path that everyone nearby sees in the same place. Auto-defence and warning shots use them too. Nine types: Kestrel and Osprey SAMs, Hornet flak, Barracuda anti-ship, Trident long-range cruise missile, Mole bunker buster, and non-lethal Blackout EMP, Veil smoke and Lantern illumination flares.
New: The console has new Strike and Command sections: planner, launch queue with countdowns and abort, arsenal with stock and reload per site, site modes and assignments, after-action log with replays on the scope, auto-defence rules, island siren and announcements, operator roster and per-missile permissions, salvos of up to four and drills with dummy warheads.
New: Strikes beyond home waters (3.5 km) need a second operator on a different account to authorise them within 60 seconds. Strikes on the mainland are off until staff turn them on. Every request, launch, abort and impact is logged and posted to the defence audit channel.
New: Staff: /coraldef strikes has a kill switch that stops every launch at once, plus the mainland toggle, a range cap and resupply. The Staff tab in /coraldef tunes every missile.
