Released 30 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: The HUD has been rebuilt. With a portable GPS, your street, crossing, heading in degrees and area sit in a strip above the minimap, with the weather, temperature and waypoint distance underneath. A slim health and armour row now sits under the minimap even without a GPS.
New: Injuries and effects now show above the location strip: bleeding, leg and arm injuries, pain, illness, painkillers, medication, alcohol and buffs. The worst problem opens up to tell you what to do about it, and the list folds up so it never runs into the chat box.
New: Your wallet now appears for a few seconds when your cash or bank changes, with a receipt for what the payment was, where it happened and how you paid. An overdrawn bank shows in red with OD, and your card and any bills or fines due sit underneath. Settings, HUD lets you keep it on screen all the time or switch it off.
New: Hold Z to Peek at the full HUD. Your wallet opens with your accounts, card, next payday and an estimate of your pay, bills and fines, recent payments and Project Points, and every injury is listed. Z no longer expands the GTA minimap while the HUD is up. Change the key in /keybinds, or set Peek to a single press in Settings.
New: A new Standard speedometer shows speed, gear, the speed limit, fuel and range, with only the lights that are actually on and real warning lights for fire, overheating, oil, brakes, battery, tyres, engine damage, doors and your seatbelt. Motorbikes show lean and bicycles get a simple ride display.
New: Trucks with a trailer get a trailer card with its condition and the load limit in your own units, and on a delivery run the cargo, seal and reefer, the next stop with distance and time, and your next rest break. Emergency vehicles show the lights, siren tone, your callsign and the pursuit channel.
New: Boats get their own instrument with a heading tape, knots, the depth under the keel with a trace, anchor state, wind and fuel range. Underwater, a breath ring beside the crosshair shows your air, depth and time to the surface for every swimmer, and tells you to surface while you still have time.
New: The HUD size setting now covers the whole HUD, including restart notices and check-ins, and the HUD grows on bigger screens so it stays readable (you can turn that off). Panel opacity now works, and your saved HUD settings carry over.
Fixed: First gear
