Patch 2.78.1: Realistic character names

Realistic character names (2 October 2026).

Updated

Released 2 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Character names are now capitalised for you, so john smith becomes John Smith. Names that do not look real are turned down with a clear reason: keyboard mashes, joke or rude names, famous people and characters, and the same first and last name. This applies to new characters and name changes.
