Patch 2.93.0: Coral Island intelligence and military aircraft

Coral Island intelligence and military aircraft (5 October 2026).

Released 5 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Coral Island government intelligence agents have a new /intel console, usable from a Coral aircraft or the intelligence desk. It runs a ground scan of people and vehicles below the aircraft, a face scan that matches a visible person against the MDC (confidence falls with distance, darkness, masks and helmets, and sealed records never resolve), covert phone pings that locate a switched-on handset by cell-tower triangulation, live phone intercepts of SMS and call text, a directional microphone and planted listening bugs that pick up spoken in-character talk nearby, target dossiers you can export to the MDC as an intelligence report, and live vehicle and phone tracking.

  • New: Every intrusive action is covert (the target is never told) and controlled: phone intercepts, named pings and bugs need an intelligence order with a reason and a time limit, intercepts need a second senior officer on a different account to approve, and every scan, ping, intercept and bug is written to an audit log the console and staff can read, and posted to the Coral defence Discord. Staff on duty and sealed records are excluded, and nothing ever touches out-of-character chat, reports or private messages.

  • New: On-duty Coral Island government can now use /helicam from their helicopters alongside the police. The camera is fleshed out with a lock-on that follows a vehicle or a person, a ped description and MDC name read-out, a marker you can share to your unit, and a snapshot you can file to evidence.

  • New: Military jets and helicopters (Lazer, Hydra, Hunter, Savage, Akula, Valkyrie and more) get a cockpit radar with friend-or-foe contacts, a heat-seeking lock-on with a lock tone, flare and chaff countermeasures that break a lock and run out over a sortie, and a missile warning receiver that warns the targeted pilot with a tone and a direction. Weapons on armed military aircraft can be restricted to authorised Coral or faction pilots (off by default, set in the console).
