Patch 2.57.1: Calls you can answer while driving

Calls you can answer while driving (9 September 2026).

Released 9 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • Fixed: A ringing phone no longer steals the mouse. The phone used to force the cursor on the second a call came in, which locked your controls and left you driving straight ahead while you hunted for the green button. The phone still comes up so you can see who it is, but you keep full control of your character.

  • New: /p answers an incoming call and /h declines or ends it, so a call can be taken without touching the mouse. /pickup and /answer do the same as /p. The ring screen tells you both. If you would rather use the screen, the cursor key brings the mouse back, and the phone puts itself away on its own when the call is over.

  • Fixed: An incoming call showed a bare number even when the caller was saved in your contacts. Contacts on the normal phone are filed against the handset, but the call screen only ever searched by phone number, so it never found them and fell back to the number. Saved names now show on incoming calls, outgoing calls and on the burner.

  • Fixed: Reaching a saved contact by name failed the same way, so /sms, /sendlocation, /sharelocation and FaceTime treated the name as a phone number and went nowhere. All four find your contacts now.

  • Fixed: Every saved hairstyle slot stored the hair you had on when you opened the wardrobe instead of the one you picked.

  • Fixed: Closing /uniform put a uniformed player back into their civilian outfit.

  • Fixed: Clothing and outfits are locked while you are on duty and uniforms are locked while you are off duty, with no admin bypass.

  • Fixed: Evidence bags were never created, so evidence could not be collected.

  • Fixed: The faction stash only accepted drugs, materials and equipment and refused everything else.

  • Fixed: A business entrance and exit moved to the wrong spot when they were edited.

  • Fixed: Board games placed in the world were invisible to anyone who arrived after they were set up.

  • Fixed: The pet leash rope threw players into the air.

  • Fixed: Carrying a tool used the jerrycan idle instead of a two-handed grip.

  • Fixed: The place order button was cut off in the car lot order tab.

  • Fixed: /placepc ignored PCs that had no computer record, and premium support tickets used an event that had been removed.
