Released 8 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.
Changes
New: Nitrous. A mechanic fits a nitrous kit (quoted like any other job), bottles refill it, and the driver holds the nitrous key (Left Shift by default, rebindable in Settings > Key Bindings) for a hard shove with flames out of the exhausts. Purge it while stationary for show. Lean on it for too long and the engine cooks.
New: Anti-lag. A sport or race exhaust with an ECU tune now pops and spits flames when you lift off at high revs, and crackles on the limiter. Everyone nearby sees it.
New: Glowing brake discs. Brakes heat up under hard braking and glow through the wheels, on every car around you, then cool down.
New: Wax and cleaning kits. A cleaning kit washes a vehicle wherever it is parked. Car wax on a clean vehicle makes dirt build four times slower for 150 km, premium wax for 500 km. Sold at the parts counter and stocked by mechanic businesses.
New: Workshop repair kit. Mechanics can carry a kit that brings any vehicle, aircraft included, back to workshop condition on the spot.
Balance: Turbo tiers were already there: salvaged, OEM, sport and race turbos behave like the 27 mm to 52 mm ladder, with wear to match.
