Patch 2.41.0: A wardrobe worth standing in

A wardrobe worth standing in (1 September 2026).

Released 1 September 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: The clothing wardrobe has been rebuilt from scratch. The old side panel is gone and your character now stands centre stage with the whole screen given over to them: categories on a rail down the left, what you are trying on beside it, your basket and running total on the right, and the camera controls along the bottom. Drag anywhere on the scene to walk the camera around yourself, and roll the scroll wheel to move in and out. The HUD, minimap and chat step out of the way while you browse and come back exactly as you left them.

  • New: There is a spotlight on you while you shop. It lights you head to foot from wherever you are viewing from, so dark corners and night time no longer make it guesswork what a colour actually looks like. It is on by default and there is a button to switch it off if you would rather see the garment in the real light of the room.

  • New: Auto-fix coverage is a new toggle in the wardrobe, on by default. Tops in this game carry their sleeves on a separate slot, which is why pulling on a jacket could leave you with bare arms or a floating pair of sleeves. With this on, the sleeves are corrected to match the top the moment you try it on, and your glove style and colour are carried across rather than reset. Switch it off and you get back precisely what you had on, down to the texture. It only touches base game clothing and leaves anything else alone.

  • Fixed: Clothing previews no longer crash the game. The body underneath the garment was being dressed with clothing indexes that do not exist on every install, which took the client down on the first row of items in any category. Previews also stopped showing bare skin through tops and trousers.

  • Fixed: Your hair colour survives the wardrobe. Trying on a top was quietly resetting dyed hair back to its natural shade, and walking out of the shop made that permanent.

  • Fixed: Taking your gloves off no longer changes your shirt. Gloves and sleeves share a slot, so removing them used to fall back to whatever was last saved there and could hand you a different top. The correct bare handed version of the sleeves you are actually wearing is now worked out properly.

  • Fixed: Session playtime is counted properly again. It now tracks real time at your keyboard from a single idle signal, so it no longer undercounts a long session or keeps counting while you are away.

  • Fixed: Mechanic work saves. Modifications
