Patch 2.150.0: Police pursuits, roadblocks and crime scenes rebuilt

Police pursuits, roadblocks and crime scenes rebuilt (11 October 2026).

Released 11 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Scene command: one police panel for pursuits, roadblocks and crime scenes. Open it with F11 (change it in Keybinds) or from the new Police section of the Interactions wheel. No commands needed, the old ones still work as shortcuts.

  • New: Pursuits now follow the suspect, not the officer. Declare from the wheel or the panel, aim at the car and confirm. The plate runs through ALPR, a TAC channel and a CAD call open, and the radio calls out the suspect direction, street and speed from whichever unit can see them. Switching cars or bailing out on foot is followed too.

  • New: A live pursuit board and HUD for every unit: suspect car and plate with ALPR flags, speed, direction, a map with a fading trail, units with primary, secondary, air and spike team roles, a risk meter and tactic lamps for PIT, boxing, spikes and rolling roadblocks. The primary or a supervisor can send units to set up a roadblock or spikes ahead, and they get a GPS route and a marker on the ground.

  • Balance: Pursuits end on their own after 90 seconds with nobody seeing the suspect, or after two minutes at extreme risk unless a supervisor authorises them. PIT and boxing need a supervisor when one is on duty. Every contact with the suspect car is logged and unauthorised ones are flagged for review. When a pursuit ends a report with the timeline and a map is drafted in the MDC.

  • New: Suspects see a police pursuit bar with stars and a timer while they are being chased, and are told when officers lose sight of them.

  • New: Roadblocks: pick a layout (full closure, police roadblock, lane closures, checkpoint, spike point, collision scene) or a single item from pictures, then place it with a see-through preview that snaps to the road and turns with the mouse wheel. New items: lit cones, road closed barriers, road works signs, detour arrow boards, floodlights and light towers that really light the road. Save your own layouts.

  • New: Roadblocks can slow or stop local traffic, show as a road closure on everyone's map, appear on the map for other units, and take themselves down after 30 minutes unless extended. Officers can throw a spike strip from the boot of their car; it comes up after four minutes or when the pursuit ends.

  • New: Crime scenes: open a scene with a perimeter, string police or caution tape post by post, drop numbered evidence markers with notes, set up floodlights, li
