Patch 2.142.0: Own and run vending machines

Own and run vending machines (11 October 2026).

Released 11 October 2026. Back to the changelog. UCP patch notes.

Changes

  • New: Vending machines can now be owned. Street machines in the county are for sale through /vending (Market tab) or straight from the machine, and busier machines cost more. You can also buy brand new machines (eCola, Sprunk, Raine water, Bean Machine coffee, Snack Attack, Chill Box fridge, Redwood cigarettes and Night Kit washroom machines) and place them inside a property you have rights to or on a vending pitch marked with a green floor marker.

  • New: Owners choose what each slot sells, set their own prices and name the machine. Stock it from your pockets at the machine or order wholesale from /vending and a van loads it for you about ten minutes later. Customers see your brand, your prices and sold out slots.

  • New: Sales go into the machine's cash box. Empty it in person, or turn on auto-bank to have it banked every hour for a 5% fee. /vending shows all your machines with stock levels, sales, earnings, deliveries and alerts for low stock and break-ins, and can set a waypoint to any of them.

  • New: Sell a machine to a player standing with you, move it to your company (company machines bank into the company account and members with till rights can run them), or sell it back to the state for half of what it first cost.

  • New: Player-owned machines can be broken into with a crowbar to steal from the cash box. It takes time, trips an alarm that calls the police and tells the owner, and the machine stays out of order until the owner repairs it.

  • Fixed: State-run vending machines keep working as before, now also cover cigarette and condom machines and restock themselves over time instead of staying sold out until a restart.

  • New: Staff: /vendadmin info, list, owner, reset, lock, unlock, remove, refund, repair and audit, plus a Vending pitch kind in the World Editor for approved public spots. Every purchase, sale, transfer and staff action is logged.
